The artist included the elements of shape and color. I believe so because in the picture there are squares and circles. They are all surrounding each other also. I can also see the different colors that are in the picture. The colors gives the picture life and makes it stand out. The two principals that are being displayed are unity and rhythm. The shapes and the design for the unity. The circles surrounding the squares displays rhythm.

I can seriously see shape color, rhythm, an unity in this painting. I can also view line and pattern. The lines are outlined by the shapes and the picture's border. Pattern is displayed in this picture because the continuous use of circles and squares are visible.

I agree with you on your principles and elements, but I think that he was trying to potrait line because he has perfectly detailed and simliar lines in his artwork. But I do really like the picture also.(:
